Adriatic to Atacama processed by the color, emotion, the stories and memories

Adriatic to Atacama
processed by the color,
emotion, the stories
and memories ...
Here is something,
like every true art,
that is beyond words.
For now, I perceive
an invitation to lean out
and look through these windows
into the unknown
and find something
that maybe
does not only exist
in the artist own world
or in its inner richness
but also in the viewer,
in ourselves (within & without)
something that perhaps
we may not had noticed it before ...
An oscillation between a light
-where color is deployed
with contained intensity-
that bounds and comes
back and forth from the outside
and illuminates layer after layer
walls within which may lie
our own lives, compartmentalized
But the painting does not oppress us
neither the life found there
is exhausted within those borders
because through subtle textures
one can explore the strata
and get lost, as in a kind
of multiple universes
that we glimpse
guided by the gentle hand
of a perceptive artist.
The prudence of courage,
Cocteau said, lies in knowing
how far we can go too far.
Depending on the time
or awareness of the glance,
we wonder between
the curiosity of inquiring
beyond what we can actually see
or we are carried away
to a pleasant calm
sheltered by the coloratura
- I'm listening music
while I write these words
and contemplate the paintings-
and feel moved by the fine composition
and the freedom without limits she offers
Fragments
that congregates
and balance:
beauty, peace and mystery ...
Say thanks for this
seems such a small thing,
rather keep quiet and let
the art of Karen Lüderitz speak.
